Demonstrators gathered outside Palantir headquarters in Soho Square in central London last week demanding that Palantir, which supplies Israel’s genocide, has no place in our NHS.
Palantir, an American hi-tech computer technology company, holds a large number of UK government contracts including with the NHS, the Ministry of Defence and 11 police forces. It is currently involved in a legal battle with the Mayor of London’s office, over its decision to block a £50 million deal with the Metropolitan Police following concerns over the costs as well as the firm’s values.
Palantir entered into a “strategic partnership” with Israel’s Ministry of Defence in 2024. It provides advanced AI tools to the Israeli military, enabling Israel’s attacks on Palestinians.
The company has close ties with Israeli intelligence and supplies technology that facilitates mass surveillance and targeting of Palestinians.
Palantir is supplying Israel with technology used to commit genocide and impose apartheid against Palestinians. This includes advanced hardware and software for AI systems used by Israel to accelerate its mass destruction of entire neighbourhoods, schools and hospitals in Gaza.
