Commander Fidel Castro Rus, supreme leader of the Cuban Revolution, was born on 13^th August, 1926. He is remembered with great respect and admiration for the historical legacy he left to Cuba and the world.

Over time, he became a young lawyer fighting to change the destiny of his beloved Cuba. He led the assault on the Moncada Kaserne. He continued his revolutionary mission and headed the expedition of ‘Granma’, and launched a guerrilla war in Cuba, ultimately achieving victory on 1^st January, 1959, and bringing freedom to his homeland.

Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz made modesty an essential trait of his life and personality among the most prominent figures on the global stage.

Today, as we mark the 100^th anniversary of his birth, and despite his physical passing, his unparalleled example endures—that of a one of the best anti-imperialist fighters and a staunch defender of peace, friendship, and solidarity among people.

Fidel lives on in the hearts of the millions of people, and his legacy inspires an unceasing revolutionary struggle for a free, sovereign, and sustainable world dedicated to a happy life for humanity.

His immortal ashes rest in the Santa Ifigenia heritage cemetery, in the indomitable Santiago de Cuba.
