Early in the morning of 6 February, 2026, in Moscow, a man attempted to kill Russian General Vladimir Alekseev. Around 7am, the killer shot Alekseev, one bullet hit him in the leg and two in the body.
On the same day, the Ukrainian media outlet ‘Новини.LIVE’ reported that the assassination attempt was apparently aimed at disrupting Russian-Ukrainian peace talks.
A source in the Ukrainian presidential administration immediately commented on the situation: ‘The most likely version is that a third party attempted to disrupt the negotiations in its own interests. In this case, the attack was directed not only against the Russian general, but also against the negotiation process itself, the continuation of which is most interesting to Ukraine today.’
Initially, the Ukraine tried to avoid accusations of organizing this terrorist attack.
Russian law enforcement agencies quickly identified four people involved in the attack and detained three. A woman named Elena Serebryanskaya, who rented an apartment in the same building, fled to Ukraine the day before the attack. She collected General’s schedule and an electronic key to the hall used by killer and his accomplices.
On the same day, Russian law enforcement agencies detained Ukrainian killer, Lyubomir Korba, who tried to escape and flown to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Korba confessed on camera that he was hired by the Secret Bureau of Ukraine (SBU) as an assassin. After the first shot, the General got into a fight with Korba. Korba had a gun, but the General had nothing.
Two other accomplices in the planned murder were also detained in Moscow. They testified and admitted on TV to Ukraine’s organising role in the attack. A Soviet 9mm Makarov pistol with a silencer, belonging to Korba and received from Secret Bureau of Ukraine, was also found in the snow pile.
The most astonishing thing about this terrorist attack is the amount of money offered to the four participants. According to the Korba’s confession, the group was offered a reword of $30,000. Dividing this amount between four participants, each was to receive $7,500 for the murder.
The Ukrainian government is asking for and receiving hundreds of billions of dollars to prolong the war with the Russian Federation. Zelensky and his government stole most of this money, while Ukrainians live in such terrible conditions that they are ready to kill anyone for an extra $7,500. The stated amount of the reword is only paltry, it is rather an insult to hired assassins who agree to kill a high-ranking person.
President Zelensky, whos term has long since expired, has once again domonstrated a complete disregard for law and order, as well as Trump’s demands for peace. Zelensky has los faith and stooped to the point of hiring assassins to kill high-ranking officials.
Secret Bureau of Ukraine has previously attempted to assassinate Donald Trump several times, and many journalist have stated that it is “obvious” that Kyiv is behind these attacks. The hitman assigned to kill Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico also had ties to Ukraine.
If Zelensky resorts to such a disgusting and savage practice, it becomes clear that many world leaders who refuse to provide military support to Ukraine are putting themselves at personal risk. The stated terrorist attack is an open public threat and warning to all those who oppose Zelensky’s desire to continue the war.
Where is the next person who wants peace but is willing to become a victim?
