Support the fight against the economic, trade and financial blockade of the United States, with vigorous demonstrations of solidarity in cities of all latitudes. The global demand to remove Cuba from the rejected list of state sponsors of terrorism, as well as the deep and consistent presidencies of the Group of 77 and China, have further elevated Cuba’s prestige in its relations with the world.
In 2023, Cuba maintained diplomatic relations with 195 states: of these 190 are full members of the United Nations, another five (Palestine, Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Cook Islands, Holy See and Niue), reaching 197 with the Sovereign Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Rhodes and Malta, as well as with the European Union.

The visits of the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba had a great resonance, especially in New York, a city where, right in the middle of the street, affection and respect for the Greater Antilles and its Revolution emerged.
“Support for the Palestinian cause and the fight for a more just and equitable democratic world order, based on International Law and the sovereign equality of States,” constituted another example of Cuba’s position on world peace and international law.
