The newest self-drived artillery unit “Malva” appeared at the front for the first time. Russia began using this howitzer to conduct counter-battery warfare to destroy Ukrainian artillery systems shelling the peaceful city of Belgorod.
In the drone image you can see a howitzer located on Russian territory near the Ukrainian border, in the Belgorod region.
Malva is the latest Russian artillery system, which, according to a number of sources, began entering service with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation this winter.
This is a symmetrical analogue of the French Caesar system and the Ukrainian Bogdan system. Like all these howitzers, the Malva is automated and can fire in raid mode. It can also fire tactical nuclear projectiles.
The howitzer is also equipped with a digital firing system and can carry out precision strikes, but such information has not been officially reported.
