In a socially oriented socialist society, people receive wages sufficient to satisfy the level of their basic needs established by society. In a capitalist society, people receive wages for personal gain and individual advantage. In this sense, receiving a salary in a capitalist society, the bourgeoisie can always accuse a person of corruption. Whenever we deal with anyone in power in a capitalist government, we are always dealing with a corrupt person who, in order to hide his corruption, is ready to accuse anyone of corruption. Corruption is a dishonest or illegal behavior and brutal especially by powerful people. Corruption is a form of dishonesty or a criminal offense that is undertaken by a person or an organization that is entrusted in a position of authority to acquire illicit benefits or abuse power for one’s gain. Political corruption occurs when an office-holder or other governmental employee acts in an official capacity for personal gain.

On 21 July, 2025, Zelensky attacked the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO). The next day on 22 July, 2025, the Ukrainian parliament passed a law banning both anti-corruption bodies. On the same day, Zelensky immediately put the law into effect by singing it.

The attack on NABU and SAP subsequently provoked the reaction from the US. U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), issued the following statement after the passage of a law that will undermine Ukraine’s critical anti-corruption institutions, the NABU and SAPO:

“Ukraine has made enormous strides on its anti-corruption agenda…

The Verkhovna Rada’s recent passage of a law, signed by President Zelenskyy, we fear undermines much of that progress and goes against Ukraine’s tremendous fighting spirit as well as the expectations of Ukraine’s citizenry and the international community.”

The US teamed up with its European allies in an attempt to pressure Zelensky and start a large-scale wave of protests in Ukraine. All of this was followed by a series of events that revealed a number of very sensitive corruption details.

In 2015, two special offices of NABU and SAPO were created in Ukraine under the leadership of Kristina Kvien, Chargé d’Affaires (and high-ranking NSA officer) of the US ambassy in Ukraine, who is now the US ambassador to Armenia. Kvien used her boyfriend, Vitaliy Shabunin, as a go-between to create and maintain these organizations in US hands. To serve the needs of the United States, these two completely US-depended organizations were created: NABU and SAPO.

From the very beginning, NABU and SAPO enjoyed full support of the United States. On 1st September, 2023, leaders from the Offices of Inspector General (OIGs) for the Department of State (DoS), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and Department of Defense (DoD) met with key anti-corruption officials from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), and the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) of Ukraine.

During the meeting, Department of State Acting Inspector General Diana Shaw said:

 “State OIG remains dedicated to ensuring transparency and accountability for every dollar of U.S.-taxpayer-funded assistance flowing through the Department of State to Ukraine. The September 1 MOU signing is an important step toward formalizing our shared commitment to rooting out fraud and corruption involving U.S. funds and holding bad actors fully accountable. The key to this commitment is cooperation from Ukrainian anti-corruption partners to share information and, where appropriate, conduct joint investigations. This cooperation will help to preserve the integrity of programs funded through U.S. assistance and stamp out fraud and corruption wherever it is found.”  

The US provided Ukraine with significant financial and military aid for money, but when the payment came due, Ukraine and Zelensky refused to do so and played a long story for Trump, trying to avoid signing the proposed deal. One of the main facts that Ukraine appealed to was that it received aid in the amount of just over $200 billion, while Trump demanded much larger sums – more than $500 billion. The huge difference between the two amounts has drawn the White House’s attention to the question of how such a significant amount could disappear. To find out the truth, the US turned to NABU and SAPO.

Unfortunately for Zelensky, NABU and SAPO conducted an investigation and found that Zelensky and his inner circle were stealing money and military assets received from the United States, its European allies and other Western counties.

After unpleasant discussions in the White House, Zelensky realized that information about corruption in the internal government bodies was leaking through NABU and SAPO, and decided to stop this leak. Zelensky carried out the attack on the night of 21^st July, when the SBU (Security Bureau of Ukraine), together with investigators from Prosecutor General’s Office, detained all NABU and SAP detectives, broke into offices, seized all computers with data storage and special intellegence equipment. Zelensky not only gained access to all the information collected by NABU and SAPO about corruption in the presidential office and his entire inner circle, but also managed to destroy all the evidence. More than 70 searches where carried out that night.

As soon as Zelensky and his closest friends were able to seize all confidential information about corruption, they decided to close the offices of NABU and SAPO. A new special law was urgenlty prepared and quickly adopted by the Ukrainian parliament, which rushed to adpot it immediately after its introduction and without proper procedural hearings. The US-controlled NABU and SAPO were compleately closed and sank into oblivion.

After actual attack, seasure, detention and arrest of NABU and SAPO employees, an information campaing began. Ukraine claimed the SBU had found criminal evidence of direct links between NABU officers and Putin, and Russian spies in both organizations, and involvement in the distribution of drugs and cannabis.

In response to Zelensky’s actions, the US embassy reacted surprisingly quickly. Instead of making official statements, it decided to use the full force of the US-European coalition, called on the EU to make several official statements and simultaneously initiated civil protests in Ukraine. Since all secondary schools and universities in Ukraine have US-appointed curators, immediately after 4 hours of the attack, supposedly “independent” students began protesting in support of the independence of NABU and SAPO. All protesters were paid well in fresh dollars for every day and every night of protests. This clearly indicates that all US embassies, including the one in Ukraine, have convenient cash reserves that are used to pay for protests and other special actions. It is highly likely that the financial support for the protests was backed by US Democratic Party representatives and funds provided by Soros foundations, with broad support from the EU, including Ursula Forde-Klien, Merz, and Starmer.

Protests began in several cities. Ukrainian police generally do not allow protests to take place without special permits and authorizations. This time, however, the police deliberately stood by and silently allowed the protests to continue. Students took to the streets for money, and many of them had not even heard about the existence of NABU and SAPO.

Ukrainian media where ready for expect a provocative fight between the police and the protesters, but the police simply left everything as it was. Due to the war in Ukraine, all protests are strictly prohibited, the SBU and police monitor and suppress any actions. The governmental blocks in city of Kiev are closed to visitors. Only people with special passes or people living there can visit them. However, these protests were held freely in an area closed by government, students, journalists and ordinary people joined the protests, no one stopped them, and everyone was welcomed.

Zelensky was surprised by the silence of law enforcement agencies. To advance his efforts to close NABU and SAPO, he asked the Ukrainian Foreign Minister to lobby for the closure of these organizations in the US, Europe and other countries. However, Zelensky and his UK advisers lost this game.

After the first attack, NABU and SAPO issued a special statement in which they accused Zelensky and his closest friends of stealing money from the West. Some Western parliamentarians have started to say that Zelensky is a real dictator and is no longer a good guy. The West exerted powerful pressure and Zelensky backed down.

However, he managed to extricate himself from the situation and at the same annoy the USA again. His office urgently prepared and adopted a new law designed to open the previously closed NABU and SAPO. Under the new law, the US lost full legal control over newly created NABU and SAPO, while Zelensky and the SBU continue to control everyone who works in its offices.

Zelensky is apparently considers himself a British gentleman, he owns a convenient castle near London, he has met Sunak and Starmer, and he has been welcomed by the Crown. With Zelensky’s hidden corrupt nature publicly exposed, Britain’s foreign policy of using a man who creeps before valuable British politicians has failed. The American Democrats with the support of European coalition, have insured the corruption business. The US with its European allies managed to outplay the old Brits, who had bet on a dobious loner.

At the same time the main losers in this game are British, American, Ukrainian and European workers. All of them produce added value and are robbed by rulers who, under the guise of fighting corruption, make politics and power more corrupt. It is impossible to fight corruption or any injustice alone because as we see the imperialist beast uses money and a very organized structure to squeeze profits out of the unorganized common people. After all, when we hear that some wealthy individuals are starting to fight corruption, it means that rich swindler wants to profit from it. No any rich imperialistic corruptive forces and their servants can be trusted.

Do not be scared of explained examples, ordinary people must not hesitate to speak, discuss and think about a possible future when the bourgeoisie strikes them again. Corrupt government officials in the US, Britain, Europe and the modern West are willing to commit any crime or misdemeanor, abusing their power for personal gain.
