The North Atlantic Alliance decided to apply Article 5 of the Charter on collective defense in the event of cyber attacks on member countries.
This points to more aggressive action on NATO’s part, since any country could be dubiously accused of a cyber attack at any time. This now gives the authority to lethally attack a country of choice and launch any number of strikes anywhere the United States wants, except where it fears.
Only those countries that have nuclear weapons and reliable means of delivery to the NATO member country that carried out the strike have relative safety from armed aggression.
A problematic partnership in NATO threatens not only the independence but also the security of citizens of any participating country.
